Suggestion

Recording has begun!

Studio work for our first upcoming album has begun! Me and Grundlegarth have been busting some serious ass over at Casey Grillo's studio...the songs are tracked, but there is a lot of editing to do. We will be realeasing tons of new info on this album soon.

Were also heading up to Jacksonville early next month to finish up the album with our friends from 20Wt (20wt.com). Guitar, bass and vocal tracks will be recorded up there, and hopefully we can fnish up the production and all of the post production shit up there. We will release a few tracks when we get them finished...keep coming back to the site for more information.

Updates

We havent updated this page in a while, and theres a reason- weve been working on getting studio time booked and the album completed. Weve come a long way, and we got even longer to go. Expect a cd/dvd combo and tons of new artwork and merch. Weve been listening and working hard to give you, the fans, what you want. If you still have any comments or suggestions, please, PLEASE use the Suggestions for Suggestion part of this website. We read all of them, and we love to see what you guys are thinking.

Were also thinking about pre orders for the album- 10 dollars will get you the album and free entry to the cd release show. We have a bunch of other packages were working on...let us know if you would be interested.

New Merch Store Launched

We just launched a brand new merch store over at http://submittosuggestion.spreadshirt.com/. Its got tons of sick shirt and hoodie designs by Kate Carleton, Carlos Pons, and Hallena Hinkle.

We're working on some new recordings too, so just sit tight.

Happy New Year!

And what a year it was. Between Alin's sickness, recovery, and subsequent injury; the hate crime committed on Wolfman and Bong, and Foghorns roid incident....were all just thankful to be alive. However, the people who jumped us and ran... youre going to die for making me cancel a show. A slow, painful death awaits.

In lighter news, the Roosevelt's Heavy Metal BBQ II was an amazing success. Thanks to everyone that came out and supported the bands and the new venue. In case you havent heard, the Roosevelt is a brand new venue in Ybor and is one of the only venues in the area that puts on all ages shows. They are a completely off the grid building and their progress is constantly being filmed. You can check out more info on them here

and

We also played the Tre Stylz entertainments Pour Out Your Talent Competition, and while we didnt win, place, or generate our usual buzz, we still had a lot of fun. Were still getting the funds together for a full length album, and were so close we can almost hear it already. Just wait til you hear what were pulling together.

As for now, were working on an updated merch store. We have tons of t shirt/ hoodie designs that we cant print as of now, but we have come across a website that may prove very beneficial to us and to the fans. We also have some cool new artwork that is pictured below.

As for now, im signing off. As always, you can talk to either me, KB, Ijas, Foghorn, and Pucey on Facebook. Either that, or send your inquires into the Suggestions for Suggesiton section of this website.

Headlining State Theatre and Our New Artwork

Thanks to J Rock, Patty, and the State Theatre for having us headline last weeks Loco Lockdown show! It was an insane night full of cool bands like Ulcer, the Audrey Slam, and Full Flight. Wes, Tampa's own metal examiner, witnessed the show firsthand and wrote a review for it, which is located here:
www.examiner.com/examiner/x-19429-Tampa-Metal-Music-Examiner~y2009m10d25-Loco-Lockdown

Our next show is November 5th @ USF's ampitheater next to the Marshall Student Center. Were playing for the metal club, but if you wanna come out, its free and its gonna be sick. The Autumn Air Festival is also coming up. Its a three day music and arts festival were playing at. Were going to have all kinds of crazy shit there...maybe even a fire hooper. Definately not a show youre going to wanna miss. We have tickets for $15, so if youre interested, contact us.

So, we also recieved some new artwork from the very talented Hallena Hinkle and Carlos Pons. These are definately going to be made into shirts in the near future. Check it out:

Photoshoot, Big Daddy's, and Booking

Its been a hell of a week for the guys here at Suggestion. We were interviewed by an online magazine called Nyght Scene Magazine, which has  areported 50,000 readers a day. It turns out, were getting the cover and a six page spread in their biggest issue of the year! Needless to say, we are excited for the publicity and new fans. Were awaiting the day it comes out...just be prepared for the funniest, most ridiculous interview ever ( I mean, what would you expect?).

We also had a show this past Friday down at Big Daddy's in Tallahassee! Between drinking and partying with the locals, GG hitting the side of a pillar in our tour truck, nearly passing out on stage, and KB's subsequent eye infection, we all had quite an experience. Were definately going to be hitting Tally up again.

So, we got a few shows comin up, notably our Brass Mug show this Saturday with Imperial Conquest and our headlining show next Saturday at the illustrious State Theatre. We also are in the works for a Halloween show, a private show for the USF Metal Club, and the Autumn Air Festival in Ocala.

We also got a few more Suggestions for Suggestion...if youre not a total douche, check out that section of the site.

We Won!

We just won the 2009 Rock Solid Pressure Industry Showcase! Suggestion took first place in the contest, scoring some very high marks from most of the judges. We met a lot of cool, interesting people who want to help us further our career. We also met dozens of new people that were hoping we see more of at our upcoming shows.

Thanks to J Rock and Patty for having us out that night! Right now were working with Nyght Scene Magazine for a photoshoot/interview...plans are were going to be in a big upcoming issue they have in the works, so you'll be seeing more of Suggestion around.

In other Suggestion news, GrundleGarth finished all of his vegetables last night, and were all very proud of him! Who knew the old boy had it in him?

Welcome!

Welcome to Suggestion's first attempt at a website that doesn't begin with myspace.com! Alin, King Bong, GrundleGarth, and myself are all very excited for the forseeable future- a website that allows the user to communicate openly with us, check out our latest news, and, amongst other things, buy our shit. If you want to tell us how good, or terrible, of a job were doing, simply drop us a line at the "Suggestions for Suggestion" page.

As of now, the biggest thing were all looking forward to is the:

* September 19th - Rock Solid Pressure Industry Showcase

Its at St. Petersburg's very own State Theatre, so if you would like to purchase tickets, well too bad... because theyre all sold out.
